This is exactly why I only eat organic stuff. The cows and chickens are atleast allowed to roam free.
It is just degrees of separation. It seems that your argument of "an organism is an organism and should be treated as such" should be extended to plant life as well. I am not saying you need to coddle a growing carrot, but there is a certain level of respect that should be afforded to plant life as well. People should understand and be grateful for the amount of food that we can and are able to eat, and the processes involved from planting to plating.CommieChipmunk wrote:
