BF2S Forums Epic Boss Battles....

Guitar battle vs. Lou on expert, shitt that is hard.

Never played that game gene, but i'd say the last level on Medal Of Honour Airbourne Assualt, where there's 6 or 7 of those massive Pandzershrech / Heer Fighters (With MG42s Straped to them) in the one section of the level is pretty damn hard..

Before I even entered the topic I was going to say The End from MGS3. Heck, the whole game, no wait, the whole series, is full of epic boss battles. But The End just takes the cake. Sure you can do it the cheap way and just run around with thermal goggles and track him down, but it's so much more fun to put on some headphones, turn up the sound, and play it as a sniper vs. sniper. Extremely intense and I'd practically shit my pants at the slightest movement, even a deer.

Very epic game indeed. I'm just afraid that playing it too much might ruin it. But lately I've been longing to go back and play through again. It'll be so hard to top this, so hopefully MGS4 will kick just as much ass and even more!

Dude, I've been having urges to play MGS3 for ages. It's killing me, I wish it was on PC. Probably wouldn't be as good though.

But seriously, the whole time I played MGS3 I was just like "Woah". The huge arse "ending" scene that feels like its going for ages (after you plant the C3 in those container rooms onwards) is just pure flat out epic. The motorbike scene, the shagohod scene, then finally killing The Boss almost made me cry. Then the escape when you think that you and Eva (i think it was Eva with you?) have the taking off scene getting chased by the jets.

You know what, I'm gonna save up and buy a PS2/MGS3 again.

Hell yeah, King of Boss Battles, some of the most fun and intense ones Ive had was with old Ganny.


However, The End was pretty awesome, even with thermal I still had trouble finidng him sometimes, and literally would jump at the slightest sound.  Was such a relief when he finally died.

The portal monster/computer thing definitely takes the cake for me

and then the end boss of SS2 was a giant fucking building. Don't forget the number of bitches you have to kill before you even get to the final building in the background.

Paxton Fettel at the end of F.E.A.R. He just kneels there and you shoot him in the head.

(Yeah I know, not a boss battle as such, but a main antagonist.)

Melvin the hobbit in Overlord hands down.

TBH all boss battles in Overlord were epic.

Shub Niggurath in Quake 1 is also worth mentioning because it took forever to figure out for me.
