I was recently thinking about JFK's speech at rice stadium and decided that, that was probably the most inspiring speech I have probably ever heard.

My favorites are Churchill, Ghandi and JFK, Malcolm X also have a couple worth top 10 ...

Fuck JFK. That asshole and his family get a pass on everything they did for some reason. Trying to kill Castro thus inviting the Soviets to Cuba. Which made life hard for many Cubans for many years. It's cliche to say it, but MLK's speeches... nearly all of them... are almost completely devoid of language that isn't inspiring. Plus, he was undeniably one of the best human beings of his time, and certainly ever.

edit: and Fodder, many republicans swoon over JFK as well... People loved his charisma, and you just can't talk shit about someone who was murdered. But yeah... He wasn't the great president that many people make him out to be.
