Because they look very, very hideous. I mean honestly, I prefer black themes that ASUS have much more than this multicoloured shit.

Are you trying to appeal to kids? Seriously.

Grow a sac, gigabyte.

Same, the boards tech specs are good but they look something out of candy land.

lol, I have to agree they are disgusting to look at, quite poor overclockers too compared to comparably priced Asus boards.

yeah, I also prefer the dark asus boards. Way classier

OP, why? That thing is inside of your PC. It's not like your looking at it 24/7.

Geez, arguing over a colored Motherboard that is inside a casing. You guys have nothing better to do, don't you?

My girlfriend got a GA-P35C-DS3R for her machine, and frighteningly, it looked completely appropriate for her as she put it all together. Normally I don't care about how hardware looks, as you never look at it after installation anyway, but that was downright emasculating.

Reminds me of most MSI boards, they do so love their red.

I lol at the irony of a die-hard Mac user criticizing people for caring about how something looks, inside the computer or not.

That's a Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3. I'm really bothered about how much the colours of the RAM slots stick out.
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

We're saying that you don't see much of the slots of a motherboard, you see the PCB. And dark blue isn't too bad.
