Okay, so my motherboard is fried and its welded to the case thanks to dell.
So I Have a video card (7950 GT), Ram, DVD Drive, 430 Watt Thermaltake psu, all accessories (Monitor, keyboard, mouse etc)
I need a Hard drive, processor, OS, Motherboard, Case, and whatever the heck else you need for a computer for under 500 $. Obviously I will use the parts I have, and cheaper is better, although I still want something decent.
Any suggestions?

you can't get the mobo out of the case?  that's not dell's style, usually they are the easiest to take apart... what model is it?

its an E510, theres a giant Heat Sink Welded over it- and the processor. What do I need besides components in the way of Cables, CPU paste, etc? I've got the components pretty much figured out, but I'm not sure what else I need. (Would an Antec 900 case with a separate CPU cooler be enough cooling?) Ill post the components a bit later on.

I have one more question.
I have a copy of Vista installed on my hard drive. If I put that hard drive in the new build, and reformat, will it work?
What I mean is that I have heard that the copy is registered to the motherboard, and so will not work with a different motherboard, is that true?

i think u can install it on 2 systems... but only one can be active at a time.  if you have problems, you can always call microsoft, they actually respond pretty well to licensing issues.  (for real)
