Secondary sound card not working

I have 2 sound cards: X-FI and SupremeFX. Speakers are connected to X-FI and i would like to have mic and headphones connected to SupremeFX.
But i don't get any sound from the FX and it keeps telling me i plugged headphones in to the wrong plug. Green goes into green right? I've set FX as my primary device and it does nothing. The software integrated equalizer works, i see visualizations that music is being played but nothing. No sound.

Need help plz.

May I ask why do you need to use SupremeFX II when you have X-fi?

To use 1 for my speakers and the second one for mic and headphones. Cos whenever i want to use headphones i need to crouch under my desk and plug the headphones. It sucks.

Ah... I see... gl you are gonna need it to get two sound cards working properly together. It is very hard. I tried and came into conclusion that I use headset and audigy only. I'll try to find some info tho but only after some sleep

are your headphone multi channel? if not doesn't your case have a front headphone jack?
