lulz, I just fucked my iPod. it says I should restore it, but if I connect my iPod to iTunes I can't restore it. It says: 'No iPod found'

lol

Any ideas how I can fix it? It says it's on hold but it isn't and I can't shut it down anymore. lol

Does it show up in Windows or your Mac OS? Try formatting the ipod from your operating system.

1. Un-install itunes.
2. Let your ipod loose all its battery power.
3. Connect it to your computer - i.e. re-charge it.
4. Disconnect from computer.
5. Re-install itunes.
6. Connect ipod and see what happens.

This also happened to me before, I tried this and it worked fine, good luck.

happens all the time. Just let your pod die, then recharge it. It'll be good as new.

This has happened to my brother's ipod a few times... never to mine. Dunno what causes it. He always seems to fix it, and he's like the least techno-savvy person alive.

Same but my iPod screen kind of went bad I thought I could never get it working again because the Menu + Play button trick didn't work.. Just connected it and restored it trough iTunes.

Center button and Menu, not Menu+Play. Top and middle buttons.
