Was looking to get a X-Fi soundcard, but theres quite a few X-Fi cards out there: XtremeAudio, Music, Gamer, Fatal1ty....etc.

I just want something that will make my games sound nice, and X-Fi cards have the hardware sound processing thing?

The XtremeAudio is around $50 and fits PCI-Express slots. Anyone have any recommendations?

It's quite expensive, what is the difference between the fatal1ty and the XtremeAudio/Music/Gamer?

I have an ExtremeGamer card. If you dont want to spend a lot this is the minimum you should get. The Extreme Music and Audio cards do not offer performance/acceleration in gaming.

I have the xtream gamer version. They sound awsome! Except for some reason arty strike in 2142 sound wrong with its screeching no problems other than that.
