Yes i got an answer on some other forums and it seems to work now. I disconnected my WD My Book 500GB usb HDD and it seems to work now. Gawwad do you also have an Asus mobo?Gawwad wrote:
I think I have the exact same issue. Some times it just doesn't power up correctly and I have to restart it for it to work.
Edit: one thing I've noticed: my mic and external HDD don't power up when this happens.

replug monitor cable, take the gfx card out and put it back, take the supremefxII out, take the external HDD out....

np. It didn't sound like mobo problem and I'm glad to hear it wasn't. I used to have that problem with an old CRT. I had to hit it few times every time I turned it on..Sup wrote:

Cables are plugged firmly, i made sure before i even took any components out. It gives me messages: analog/digital like its not signal, had to shake it to work. I'm gonna buy a new monitor anyway. Bur im really angry i took so many components out, changed gfx cards, took the battery out move the cmos reset switch-nothing.GC_PaNzerFIN wrote:

I hope you still have warranty for that monitor. If not, you'll have to get used to shaking it or buy another one.
edit: PS. I'm trying to do extremely good deal with Jetway 8800GT. If I get it cheaper than 150€, I can sell it for some $$$. You never know if I might even jump on the SLi club with 8800GTs
