The 7600GT is an ok card for about $50-$70, it will run BF2 maxed, don't know about CoD4.

If you wanna spend more, and are able to find one, get an ATi Radeon X1950. It's about the best AGP card you can find. Any DX10 AGP card isn't worth it.
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

Think the best AGP card is the HD 3850.  Though, dx10 AGP is kinda pointless and probably overly expensive, if you can find an X1950 pro that is what I would go for.

Here is an AGP card that I currently use and am pretty happy with:

I have a BFG 7800GS OC and it plays BF2 and COD4 averaging 70fps
but I would recommend saving your $$ and upgrading to a PCI=e mobo system

I would get a 7600GT 256 (512 is crap) over that, since the 7800 series are really hard to find.
