My 22" Benq LCD I bought a few months ago - $280.

Why are they so ridiculously expensive? Mine is great as far as I am concerned, can't notice anything wrong with it at all...

Beautiful IPS display, which is more luck based for monitors like DELL (although many of them do have them!) - They are professional quality, beautiful looking monitor. The only monitors I buy now are either Apple (why? what's this! A 22" Apple display to the left of me? Why yes!) and DELL (why, there just so happens to be an Ultrasharp 17" looking dead at me)

What this thread hasn't brought up is a comparison of basic LCD stats: resolution, brightness, contrast and response. But with Macs, you get to add at least 50% on top of the cost to pay the hundreds of beturtlenecked stubbly-chinned aesthetics designers in Apple's employ. 'If it ain't round, it ain't an Apple.'
