BF2S Forums What do you think is most Useless Unlock / Weapon in BF2?

My favs the G36C, closely followed by the L85A1 both solid performers. the scope on the L85A1 rocks and makes a huge difference in maps like karkand.  Most disapointing unlock hands down is the G3, was hanging out for my next promotion and wasted it on the G3. Not enough rounds and I'm far too inaccurate to be walking around with only 20 bulletts.

my favorite unlock is the g36c because every bullet goes in the same spot even on full auto with sights. me=lamer

I find all the machine guns to be useless specially the unlock for support class that machine  gun is so crappy slow and DAMN ugly hate that piece of crap.

Yep the smg for anti tank are crap but before i had the dao12 i still got some good kills the one for mec is worse.

So is the medic's unlock really that bad? I think i tried it once but was along time ago it didnt seem very accurate and in the unlocks it says "the weapon was so accurate they had to redesign there marksmenship tests"

then they create the gun in the game to be crappy / inaccurate? haha.

But its a nice looking gun hate the m16 for medic pretty useless.

best default:  ak-74u.  it just rapes quickly.
worst default:  AT subs.  they are just horrid.  i prefer to use the pistol.
honorable mention:  usmc shotty.  it just owns so bad.  i fell in love with it today i guess you could say

best unlock:  from what i have, id have to go with the L8.  ive got the g3 (never use it), pkm, and m95.  i rarely snipe, the pkm is really inaccurate, and i like having my n00b t00b (even tho im not a n00b t00ber).  if they just replaced that stupid L8 scope with a red dot, i would be happy.
worst unlock:  again, from what i have, id say that the m95 sucks.  its been covered.

A good weapon is the weapon you know how to use...
If you do not know how to use a weapon even the best weapon is useless...
I would say, there are no bad weapons in BF2 as long as you know how to use them and how to counter their weaknesses.

I dont know where all this hate i towards the L85A1 and M95 is coming from but for me personally ive out snipped snipers with the L85A1, but when most people get up close and personal with someone body with the L8 they have a tendency to hold down the trigger. Quick taps it gets the job done for me, i like the g36e but for me theyre both good, any weapon is devasting in hands of the proper person. As for the m95 it owns people in vehicles if wielded by a true marksman, yah i still use the m24 on maps i know i wont have a chance to shoot through glass, but maps like shrqi or oman dont be on heli pad waiting or in a jet just chilin your just giving me a free kill

M249 is the basic support LMG on the USMC side also called SAW.

so far my worthless unlock is th SCAR-L. inaccurate, ugly and not even more powerful than the ther spec-ops guns. maybe i could practice a bit with it but why should i when i got a G36 thats hits where i aim anyway.

next would be the PKM. yes its powerful but to inacurate. from a LMG i expect to be able to mow down anything in CQC but standing without sights it just shoots in 90°. prone and with sights its ok even io sometimes wonder how some ppl can be so damn accurate with that thing.

i also cant see the bashing on the G3, L85, M95. these are weapons wich become really powerful with some practice. imho the major problem in the community is the believe that the unlocks are upgrades. but they are not! they are unlocks and they just have other strengths and weaknesses like the standard guns.
my first unlock was the G3 and at firs i also thought it sucks.. then i used it for some time and in the end its teh pwnage if used correctly same goes for the others.

How can you NOT like the jackhammer ... its "teh pwn0r"  in close combat.  Get some facts straight.

With the jack hammer you can also get on "shot one kill". you have 8 pelts that deal 15 damage = 120 damage when most classes have only  100 health.

the standard engi weapon is 25X8 = 200 damage. Theoretically, but when you move and shoot you never hit all 8 on target so "the jack" with the higher rate of fire get the first prize )).

I have to agree the QBZ-95 (PLA spec ops default) is probably the most underrated weapon in the game. It owns hardcore compared to the other spec ops weapons. But the one single weapon that sucks the most in the game would have to be the Type 85 SMG. Yes, it's virtually identical to the MP5, BUT the draw time significantly more. You've seen it right? Switch to it from another weapon and you'll see how freakin SLOW it takes for you to draw it and actually shoot. The only saving grace is its faster reload time. Whopee. So by far the MP5 and Type 85 are the worst weapons but the Type 85 takes the prize for the Worst Weapon in the Game.
    All the other weapons in the game can be debated forever. For every guy that says the L85A1/M95/G3 sucks, there's another guy saying how much they own. It all depends on skill and experience with the weapon. I know I can still kill people with the SMGs, especially the PP-19 with its larger magazine, and I find myself being a victim of a L85 alot so that should say something too. Now, whoever says any of the LMG support weapons suck, all I have to say is YOU SUCK. I can kick ass with ANY of them, but I have to say the PKM is the slowest one. It draws slow, has a slow rate of fire, and reload time is crazy slow. But the damage is VERY HIGH. The MG36 is my personal favorite for it's accuracy and VERY FAST reload time.
    Things will get interesting soon when they change the accuracy of some of the weapons. Who knows, the SMGs might not totally suck then!

P.S. For every jacksass that says the G3/M95/L85 sucks, you might as well argue that Pepsi is the better drink, the PS2 is the better system, and McDonald's is the better fast food joint. So shut up already.

if i read the initial post correctly...........(yes i did), it says what do u think is most useless unlock/weapon...i guess there is an emphasis on YOU, therefore we all have opinions on what we like to use and what we hate. Fact is practically every weapon has had a yay or nay vote, some because they as Fahrenheit said, lack of skill hence the weapon to him was a wasted unlock....etc..cant understand why peeps is getting all defensive! I dont like the PKM, F2000, Scar-L.....not knocking them really its that i prefer the old unlocks, M95 i like and use. I just unlocked the G3 so cant say if i like it yet, not keen on the 20 clip seems a little low.....most of the unlocks are an upgrade, some of the SF ones are a trade off accuracy over power!....is it possible to kill someone with the zip line lol i.e. by firing it at someone?...will have to try lol
