So my laptop just decided to take a shit on me and something really gay happened. Right now the whole screen is fuzzy and I can barely see what I'm typing atm. It seems as though the pixels are fucked and I have no idea why it happened. I just started watching a streamed movie from like China and it randomly happened.

maybe your inverter cable is loose. try pushing around on the back of the screen and see if it makes it fuzzy or better...

Why is your screenshot 800x500 then?

It says here 1440x900 pixels when I go to display properties=>settings=>screen resolution.

screenshot is too small but it looks fine (thinking how it would be larger).
So can you post the huge picture too, not the small one?

In the meantime, plug your laptop on an external screen.
Does it looks okay on there? Then your screen on the laptop is broken.
Does it looks the same crap as on your laptop? Then your GPU (graphical card) is probably fucked up.
Is your graphical card integrated on the mobo? then your mobo is broken, bad luck...

The screen you posted is fine, so its most likley a hardware problem, not a software one. Try applying pressure GENTLY to different parts of the screen, and see if it fixes it.

Since the screen shows your screen looking perfectly fine, it has to be a problem with the connections from your graphics card to your screen, or your screen itself.

I'm pretty sure that your laptop's screen has broken since there seems to be nothing out of ordinary in the screenshot, at least nothing that would prevent reading this.

Try lowering your screen resolution.

Mess around with the settings on your monitor, press the buttons and go into the different settings and see if that helps.

Already done that :S

I'm going to leave it for the night. I doubt that'll do anything but could overheating cause graphic fuck ups like this?

I'm sad to say that your screen is probably broken.

Repairing such screen is VERY expensive tbh, so unless it's in warranty you'll have to pay. It depends on the size of the screen, the brand of the laptop etc etc and if you are going to let it be replaced or replace it yourself.

My guess would be between 150-400 euro's...
