That price is just epic fail... I could get 8800GT SLi for 380€ now... but that would need SLi mobo...

So lets say 600,00. Prices go up first due to many orders so lets talk 650,00. For that price, you can buy or 2 3870X2's in CF, 2 8800GT's SLI or 8800GTS G92's in SLI, a second GTX or Ultra and still beat the shit out of the card.

I could get 8800GT SLi for 300€ (used cards with warranty)... and it is almost as fast as 9800GX2. for half the price

Wow, bad market pricing choice Nvidia. Maybe it's 10% faster than the ATI-3870X2, dependent on drivers of course, but that doesn't justify it being 25-30% more expensive than the ATI offering.

What's worse is that Nvidia never finishes fixing their driver issues because they're to busy making a marginally better product line that requires new drivers. So the latest 8800 drivers stay BETA for months on end (and this one needs a lot of fixing IMO).

I have seen about 100 pics of the conenctor so it clearly has one. Actually it was the reason why the 9800GX2 was delayed.

It will be quad-sli ready, the only problem is that quad-sli has a lot of techno-problems (decent support and frame buffering compatibility problems with DirectX, I think). If they can't make decent driver and create support for it - it will be a debacle like the 7950-gx2 was.
