it may be that your voltage is not being divided properly and thus sending too much to the cpu, in essence overclocking it like nobody's business and making your computer run wayyy too hot.  how did you get the old thermal paste off?
i just used teh card it came with and used my nail a bit.
And the problem was before i even reapplied the paste
and the problem is from the old power supply
which worked fine for years

and now i have a new one i doubt they are both doing it
well, the solution i would suggest is a new mobo, but that may not fix your problem, you've really got me stumped on this one...

edit:thought:it could be a sensor that glitched in which case it would need replacing.

Is the CPU overclocked? If you manage to get on bios again, what is the core voltage of the CPU?

pull the battery out of the bios, and  leave it out for about 5 mins and then put it back in, this will effectively reset the bios correcting any voltage problems. (hopefully)

if you look in the bottom right corner of htat pic you can see what it looks like, it looks like a watch battery.  2-5 mins outa the computer should allow a reset

take it out and leave your computer alone for about 5 mins then put it back in (all with your comp off)
