I was wondering when someone would post that

I really don't think its worth its hype... Don't get me wrong Apple produces quality computers but I would never in my life pay that much money for so little performance. Its just no economical... you could get a Windows based notebook with all the bells and whistles and can play most games on high for the same price.
It's not running XP / Vista. It's built to run OSX, and OSX is built to run on macs. They go hand in hand for performance and maximum power available. Macs aren't built for gaming.

No changing my mind there.
I can agree with you on this, it is an issue. But frankly, I never use CDs anymore and nor does my brother so it was pretty inessential. Although I do totally see where you are coming from.

I fail to see the point of a super-thin thing. I mean, as long as it's light, it's mobile. Only thing that's gonna change with it being super-thin is it's ability to break.
You could squish in so much more pweformace in a twice/trice as thick thing, still keeping it at about the same weight.
Any competitor (Sony TZ is almost there) and you'll see that they are just waay thicker. It macs the Normal MacBook look like a big bulky machine. It's pretty versatile as it is and it is very light and far mobile than anything else I've ever used.

It looks thin to the point of it being extremely irritating to use. I don't like my hands being that close to the table to type. And lack of everything. It's essentially a fucking huge PDA.
I thought this would be an issue too but, at least to me, it isn't. What more ports do you need? The only thing I can think of are more USB ports and there are hubs built just to do that. Are all laptops huge PDAs if they lack certain features?

I still think Apple should stick to regular computers and notebooks.
You'd prefer it if Sony or something made the thinnest laptop? lol, why?
