I said yes, what does sexual orientation have to do with being a doctor???
What does being Asian have to do with Sex?Superslim wrote:

Either way you're getting a finger in your ass. Plus, most men getting a prostate exam, aren't exactly young. If anything I'd think a gay guy would be more sickened having to shove his finger up the ass of some fatass slob. Just like a straight male would hate being a gynocologist for an old obese woman.Lotta_Drool wrote:
I never said either way about how I answered the question. But the though was brought on by the whole women having male gynecologists and how awkward it is for them. This question was what it was likened too. A man going for a protology examine when he knew his doctor was a gay man.
Thus I was curious to see how people would respond.
I bet women seek female gynocologists in the same way a man would perfer a straight guy for a proctology examine. It is nice to see people jump on the defensive quickly and get their liberal panties waded.
Oh crap, you were serious.Lotta_Drool wrote:

The question should be "should lesbians be allowed to be gynecologists?"CommieChipmunk wrote:

Either way, sexuality really shouldn't play a part in someone's eligibility for a profession.
I'm going to say yes only because if they weren't allowed to they would sue people left and right. I know I wouldn't want a gay butt doctor though. I'm sure they would be professional enough not to try and pick up dudes when they were working, but I just think it would be awkward enough to have a stranger stick there finger in your bum as it is without him being gay.
Proof this thread is a little fruity:

Talk to some chicks. They trust their gyno more than their family. Weren't completely forthcoming? Hasta la gyno...
wuts a proctologist
I guess "some" is the operative word here. I don't know any women like that personally.Pug wrote:

I would agree that sexuality doesn't impact anything...except I probably believe the percentage of people who make a decision based on this would be higher than you'd think. I'm not sure about dudes, but I know if chicks feel anything weird about their gyno...later. However the same thought can be argued from a different perspective - who knows better about coochies than a lesbian?Turquoise wrote:

I got to go get a physical. My doc sits two rows in front of me at church, sometimes in the same row. I'm not sure if I want to sit next to a dude in church that has cupped my balls.
Good points... lol If you really wanna make him feel weird, the next time he cups your balls, give him a wink. From then on, he probably won't ever sit in front of you (maybe behind though)... lolPug wrote:

only if they have god damned common courtesy to give you a reach around.
Yeah, that cough while I hold your nuts should be done at the same time. It would just make things seem more logical.Reciprocity wrote:

Should men allowed to be gynecologists?
Yes.
So the same applies here.

You want this to be discussed...yet you yourself haven't even voiced your own opinion on the matterLotta_Drool wrote:

I think it really doesn't matter because I refuse to suck cock and the don't ask don't tell seems to be working well enough. Now, a 16 year old girl getting into stir ups seems to be a different issue and I can't imagine how scary that could be for some of them.
who better to be a proctologist?
"should men be allowed to be gynecologists?"
"should men be allowed to be gynecologists?"
He can do whatever he damn pleases as long as it's within the law, doesn't intrude my privacy, and he remains professional.
