Another problem post. Hopefully the last. Thanks for all the people who help. Anyway I am having issues with my sound. Speakers/headphones. I plugged my headphones into the correct spots and I get no sound at all. Same with the speakers. After that didnt work I just plugged them Into every single hole that is on my rig. No sound. I have no idea what is going on at all. My specs are Nvidia nforce 650i Ultra Motherboard with windows vista 64bit. I dont know if you need more specs if so tell me. I just really want to know wtf is going on. thanks
is onboard audio enabled?
how do I check to see if onboard audio is on. I have been looking in the control pannel but dont see anything about it.
well, if you have a sound card, that will generally disable it, and in that case you should be using that (as in, plug your audio into your soundcard). otherwise, it is generally a bios setting...

ya i dont have a sound card. So if i dont have one then It shouldnt be disabled right.
no, if you have one it should be disabled, otherwise you should plug into your sound card, if you have been pluging into your soundcard, make sure that your sound card is plugged in correctly and screwed in (with a screw into your case at the top of the pci slot. make sure your soundcard drives are installed.
