Steady aim is good only if you shoot from the hip. With an RDS its useless.... it wont do anything.

Or, you know, take advantage of steady aim in close fights instead of scoping in. Then, to be more accurate at a longer range, click that little button that changes from hip fire to scope. It's a difference, you see?

On topic: Ive always used it with damage/deep impact, without them it takes a nearly a whole clip to kill someone with juggernaut, useless.

Because the gun is Noob Friendly. Especially on Hardcore 1 shot kills through walls come on. How much easier can you get.

I'm sorry but the AK47 is not really a 'noob friendly' weapon. I would say almost all of the other fully-automatic 'Assault' weapons are far easier to wield in both hardcore and non-hardcore modes. The infamous M4 Carbine / M16, the G36, the G3 (especially in hardcore mode)... just a few that spring to mind as being far easier to handle in terms of recoil and accuracy. The AK47's popularity in my opinion is partly down to the fact that it is perceived as the 'pros weapon'- that and the SU SMG variant - and it also comes with the sexeh golden camouflage. I also use the AK because the AK47 without any modifications is a formidable and powerful rifle when in the right hands. If you can handle the accuracy, the recoil and the iron sights... then you'll cut people down .

the AK is definitely not an easy weapon, sure it's powerful but you have to control it well. It's my weapon of choice for medium range, and the AK-74u is better than the M4 in close range as well.

Yeah. Ak-74u without any attachments probably is one of the better close quarter weapons in CoD4.
