I have a virus called virtumonde which I have found impossible to remove.

I have scanned multiple times with spybot and ad-aware in safe mode over and over again but it just keeps on coming back up.

Has anyone had this and does anyone know how to remove this?
Also I find that explorer task closes sometimes whenever I open an Windows related windows such as IE, my computer but sometimes it doesn't close when I open these.

Help please.

I have. I said I have used ad-aware. It seems to says it has removed but when I scan again it always comes back if not straight away, maybe a day later or something. I think this is the cause of my explorer task randomly being terminated.

tbh norton antivirus...has built in recognition for this .....an would get rid of it ..probably before you would of noticed it

norton also informs you that its a component of another program...so make sure that that program isnt sketchy as well
hence why it may be popping back ..because another program is utilizing it or w.e

This is the best option.

Option two is your gunna need to turn off system restore, or else it's going to keep restoring itself.

Turn off system restore and boot into safe mode, run the ad-aware remover and any other antivirus you have, reboot into regular mode and scan again, if its found again even after system restore is off, then you'd be best to just reformat. If its not found then turn system restore back on and you should be ok.

I would give you a full description of how to do it but this is bf2s, not a tech site.
