I'm on my dad's shitty laptop X_X and the computer seems to freeze for a few seconds when I have YouTube and another tab running on Firefox 2.

So from this list:

IE7
Firefox 2 (not really because I already know it's too much for this IBM Shitpad)
Opera
Safari

which is the leanest? Remember this laptop has shitty memory.

They are all the same imho. It depends, what you are running. I use Firefox just because I can have a black theme.

Laptop specs?

If it's got enough RAM, FF2/3 should be the best, otherways one window of IE6.

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity.
