I was watching a clip from Borat's TV show, where Bruno, the gay reported which is actually Sasha Baron Cohen, goes to a football game and you could really see the hatred in the Americans eyes. They really despised him for acting different. I know it isn't an accurate reflection of American society, but it seems that quite a few people are really opposed to Gay relationships. Is their anything really wrong with it, and why do people hate it so much?

What do you think ?

you got gay haters in all groups.

I don't know how it is in the US but I am sure most don't, some do and in some areas it is more the case (when it comes what they believe) like the clip above, sure some dramatic effect is added.

Because Borat is definitely the best source of information...

Some Americans hate gay people.  They're a small percent though.  Most people I know have no problem with gays, and I live in the South.

I think the first post needs so much rephrasing, and the poster needs to do some background research (as well as google "define:stereotype") that I'm forced to close this one. I predict hardly anything constructive coming out of this.

Also, as such, D&ST is definitely the wrong section.
