ever since patch 1.4 was released, my server browser has been fucked. it works fine on my buddy's computer, and we have basically the same setup. i've reinstalled and reformatted countless times to no avail. any suggestions? only programs running are logitech setpoint and xfire.

lol probably should have mentioned that. it won't search for servers 90% of the time, and when i click on a server, it freezes for at least 20 seconds. when i finally join a server, it will say check network connections or whatever 3 or 4 times before i can actually join. my internet is fine, so that's not the problem.Ec0li wrote:

I always figured that was just bugfield being bugfield, i occasionally get slow browsing, and bf2 freezing when i click on a server, I dunno if their is a fix for it but you could try an external server browser like ASE, never used it so i have no idea what it's like but there's a link to it here

I hate when searching for servers with <200 pings I get loads reging 0, annoying because they really have like a 400 ping. Everyone has a problem with BF2, it can never just be okay can it?
I cant even play bf2 anymore.. fucking game just crashes every time i join or create a server and i have re-installed it twice but still cant get it too work

CTD? I got that when i had 2 versions of flash installed, try and find the flash player in add or remove progs and remove all of em, then reinstall the newest, should work if that's the prob, just something i found out on my travels.¦TØP¦straz_mataz wrote:
