i like the 2nd one but i was wondering if the fan facing the cpu would be cooler (as in temperature cooler not looking cooler)

With the fan facing the front or back, the hot air is taken out by the rear fan, if your take the 7500, you wont have any airflow unless you have 2 fans in your sidepanel.
