All right, so my MOTOSLVR L7 died a while back, would not charge. Apparently I was not the only one to whom this happened. So, I just got my refund, and want a new fone.

Three choices:

1. MOTOSLVR L9

That lg phone looks sexy but Nokia is always a good buy. Dunno how lg performs but i never liked motorola phones.

Samsung, Nokia and Sony Ericsson are the only thing I look at when i consider a new cellphone..

(though when it comes to smartphones it is a whole other deal)

Nyet. a) can't afford w810i or w910i b) too thick. This needs to fit in a suit pocket WITHOUT possibly being detected.

I forgot to say, i have the W910i and its the best phone i ever had, seriously.

My friend just got this, it's pretty swish, but basically the same phone, bit skinnier with a shake feature, and £150 more.

Okay out of those phones get the Nokia. Why?

Moterola, couldn't buy a worse brand of phone. They're nice looking, barely, but the functions are pretty crap. They're not that hard wearing, complicated, although all phones are when you just get them, and the quality of the features ain't that great.

LG, go buy a dishwasher from LG, and I'll support them on that, but phones ain't their ball park.

Nokia is the most established phone company out there (IMO, also have you seen anything else Nokia?) and that phone is solid and my friend has one, loves it.

You can use the W910i with one finger, seriously. You only need to use the slider when dialing.

I dont get all the hate directed to motorola.

I have owned a SLVR L7 for nearly 3 years now, its worked excellent since the day i bought it, no problems with the phone, very durable.

I bought the phone on similar terms to the OP, and i can tell you now that some of the features aren't that great (such as Itunes and the camera)
but it doesnt bother me much, because i use my phone for calls and text, and my ipod for music.

It has been a very durable phone, no cracks or scratches that would be bothersome (although it has a few marks around the corners from me dropping it many, many times)

The only problem i have had with it recently is the center button's membrane tearing, and eventually falling off, but this problem was easily fixed with some superglue (And the superglue filled most of the travel distance inbetween the button and the actual sensor, so now its like a touch-screen button )

Overall, its been a great phone, much better than my old LG, might consider a L9 as my next purchase.

maybe. i charged mine up once, then it discharged and never charged again. and no-one would fix it (motorola Canada, US, UK)
For the five hours it worked, i loved it.
