Cant Get Company of Heroes Opposing Fronts to run in Direct X 10.

I have a gateway P-6831FX Which is running 32 bit vista, 3 gigs of ram, and an 8800 GS. This should (I thought) run DX 10, but when I try to select it in game it wont let me (that choice is grayed out). Does any one know of a solution?

I've read about similar cases. Relic recommends that you reinstall [edit: after completely uninstalling] your video card driver and then reinstall DX10. Worked for other people.

I think you have to download a DX10 patch or something?

You have to do that for the original CoH, at least.

That's probably it. Forum references don't exactly give you all the details, and I haven't worked with Vista yet.

You should download SP1 for Vista if you haven't yet as it increases performance.
