I bough tone of those achros mp3 players. Yes I know it's shit but the damn thing broke on me sooner than expected. I'm thinking about taking it apart and trying to fix it. If I rubbed a magnet on it would it wipe out all of the information including the factory stuff on there or just the songs ? When I turn it on all I see is the name of the mp3 player and nothing else, it was fully charged so that's not an issue. I guess that's what I get for buying a cheap Mp3 player.
They are very poorly made, so I'm surprised it lasted more than a few seconds Sorry, you'll have to get a better branded MP3 player if you want to continue to listen to music.
Buy a new cheap one.
I've learned my lesson and I'm going the more expensive route.ebug9 wrote:

There's a 2gig version of this available. My friend paid $50 for it and it's awesome.

Well I've taken it apart and I don't know what to do now lol. I think I might end up throwing this at the wall or something or maybe running over it with my car.

I will, I've touched a little button inside and it actually went down. I'm think that was a jumper button so who knows I might have fixed it.

well, I see a different screen now. It has the icon glass picture so I'm going to wait and see what happens. If it's not working by tommorow then we can do that.

I think he meant not dirt cheap but not overpriced. iPod touch is too much $$$ if you ask me.Obiwan wrote:

For that much money, I should just go out and get the I phone which I'm thinking about doing. I almost have enough $$$$ saved up.GGF0RCE wrote:

There's a zen mp3 player in the google ad. But I've got an Ipod myself (classic version but 40gig), it broke once (when I dropped it ) so sent it to an Ipod centre and they replaced it for free, due to the warranty. Even though I bought it through eBay.
If your after an mp3 player an Ipod is hard to go past.

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP
i just got a 2gb creative zen stone plus for £24.99 seems gd so far.
You have to learn the rules of the game and then you have to play better than anyone else.
