You've answered your own question. Oh, and turn off AA.
[edit: oops, thought you said Crysis was running slow. Ignore that last. 3dmark is becoming outdated, so don't rely on its results to measure your e-wang]
[edit2: try 3dMark Vantage when it's out]
Fact that 3DMark is becoming outdated hasn't got anything to do with the system scoring so low. As new hardware comes out scores should just go up a lot in the older getting programs like 3DM06.
That would be nice, wouldn't it? I can make mincemeat of that logic by throwing an unported
legacy-legacy game at Windows XP and watch the rig stutter and stop. 3dmark06 was designed to handle certain sets of specification circumstances, and as components evolve, it begins to miss things like a film critic with Alzheimer's. The mere fact that Futuremark is designing a new application designed to handle
new hardware (still don't believe me?
take a look...) should be self-explanatory. Want further proof of the waning usefulness of 3dmark06 as a
benchmark, check out the many recent hardware articles peppered about the web.
That aside, NVIDIA does have some work to do on the GX2's driver support.
