If you though ATi Vista drivers are not as stable as nvidia ones... think again. I finally found something that reminds me of my experience with Forceware and nForce drivers.
Next time you start blaming Vista, check your drivers first.

Well, there are a couple things about this;

A majority of crashes won't get reported, as most people just press cancel and go on.

Second, overclocking.
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

Meaning of my post is to point out that please DO NOT AUTOMATICALLY BLAME VISTA when you are getting stability problems. I have heard that way too often.

1) most likely more nVidia users than ATi, for graphics company comparison
2) a good deal of the unknown crashes are probably OS crashes from unknown, and unresolved issues
3) this was made by Microsoft

I always reported any Vista issues I had, and usually they were trivial things that I then fixed easily - and they were usually my fault as well...
