Anyone know how to calculate take home pay after taxes? I have see some internet "calculators," but they are not accurate enough.
Have you tried The Salary Calculator?
Anything more specific? Do you know what your tax bracket is?

that can be pretty stressful, a buddy of mine got audited when he let his mom do his taxes and she claimed more daily allowances than days actually worked.... was an expensive mistake, cost him 6KGunSlinger OIF II wrote:

I am not doing taxes guys. I am determing cost of living for job purposes.
What do you mean? Couldn't you figure out your salary / wage, then calculate how much you'd earn, then deduct however much your income tax is from that?
fed, state, local, schools, etc....... I guess 35% is close enough in general......especially for Conn.HurricaИe wrote:

I'll PM you the site when I get home from school. It is on my home PC. It calculates everything that your state has and federal taxes with things such as medicare, social security etc.
