No.

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

just don't buy the xfx alpha dog edition cos they lock the fan speed to 100% which can not be changed if you want even a computer that resembles a quiet pc. However it is still the shit just amazingly loud. They clip the fan wires so its only got two wires which are +ve and -ve with no fan controller. So buy the Zalman thing to make it quieter and cooler.

/failsauce arguments like this are the reason Apple guys can afford to be so smug. But at the risk of sounding biased, I can say for certainty that most of my MSI products lifespans have either ended shortly or were instant RMA's. And by most, I mean two out of three.

For NVIDIA video cards, I trust eVGA, XFX and BFG Tech. Not to say that others aren't worthy, but these three are my niche.
