People sprouting shit like that, are just that, full of shit. I could 'pwn' just as well with 1 sensitivity, if that's what works for me.
at sensetivety 10 the chopper will move 10times faster compared to 1 , means that when youre about to do a roll or dodge away from threats you will have to move your mouse 10times as much as i have to (if the dpi on our mouses are the same) and it will probably still take longer time for you and the roll or dodge than it does for me and the roll/dodge will not be as sharp as mine...but if you wanna move your mouse like a hyperactive cartoonnetworkkid its up to you...

Lol. Try to roll a chopper with sensitivity 1 with a mouse and you're pretty much guaranteed to hit the deck  before you even make it half way!
I use 10 for flying choppers and jets with a mouse so I don't get RSI or end up punching the wall whilst I frantically flail the mouse about trying to pitch up!

M&K for choppers and a Joystick for jets.

That seems to be my best choice.

Some pretty mature replies here. On foot the sensitivity and pitch/yaw factor will determine how fast your viewpoint moves when you move the mouse. Try them on Single player to test different response times. High settings may sometimes result in motion sickness/headaches for some people. High settings will also make it a bit more difficult to fine tune your aim. Flying the jets with a mouse is difficult with low settings so if you fly with a mouse (not the best option) set them high. In the chopper these settings have the greatest effect. Barrel rolls are useful for evading enemy TV missiles but can be very slow with low pitch/yaw settings. Bring them up to 4-6 and you should be able to roll much quicker. Downside of high settings is that you now have to use very fine (read tiny) movements when trying to hover or the chopper will be all over the place. I have most of the sensitivity and pitch/yaw factors on 2 or 3. The chopper I have set on 5 to allow quicker manouvering but you need to learn not to overdo the movements when near objects (trees, radio towers etc). Go on singleplayer and change the settings up/down till you are comfortable with the movement speeds. Keep pitch on a lower setting as it seems to take longer for forward/backward tilt (pitch) to react than sideways tilt (yaw). You can also still see where you are going when upside down in a barrel roll as long as you still have a level horizon, but point the chopper straight up and it's hard to tell where you are heading. Hope it helps.

I play all maxed for everything, except for the infantry combat part.  I wouldn't be able to hit a thing if that was on 10

Sensitivity makes a HUGE difference on your combat effectiveness, you may have to get use to it, but trust me it helps.
