When you use your computer(s), do you tend to do something all the time, every time?

I, for example, tend to tap this area of my laptop with my thumbs, sometimes really hard, too. Dunno why I do it, I just tap it.

I also tend to scratch my MX518s "middle area". After two years of that, it's left a little mark:

I also have an urge to keep my MX518 and G11 super clean. And I tend to scratch the sides of my G11s buttons.

This is propably another "Only our Freezer..."-kind of threads.
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

sorry you feel that way

I always just look around the room after a little while, don't know why. Guess it's the strain from looking at the screen so I naturally have to just look around to "relax" things. Guess it's a good habit.

Also my mousepad and keyboard always move up the desk so I have to keep dragging it back after awhile

The computer has just been slam-shut too many times, and my dog is big, black and long-haired.

I mute the audio.  Unless I want to listen to music or watch a movie, I don't want my computer making any 'ding' sounds.

Edit:  I draw boxes with the mouse on the desktop also.

I tend to stay on for hours into the wee morning refreshing BF2S looking for new posts. I fail. I also constantly fiddle with the DPI buttons on my mx-518 to make sure im at 800, even after i know ive gotten it a dozen times. Also adblocking every single fucking image i find annoying, only to realize i need it and have to reset the list.

I've got an empty bottle of Iron Bru (you know the big glass ones) that's been sitting there for two years. It's a comfort thing, I like to play around with it with my feet.

Haha, I do the DPI thingy when gaming (BF2 specifically). I know that I want to press - 3 times from full to MG-raid in jet, same for soloing in chopper, and three times + to restore. Well, I end up pressing countless times -, then countless times +, then three minus, and countless times +.
