In case you didn't know, I have a personal jihad against certain bugs: flies, mosquitoes, and these weird beetle-ish things that recently appeared. If one gets in my room, I am restless until I can confirm its demise.

Now, one of those beetle things got in my room tonight. I could not find my handy fly swatter (Old Pinky). So first I try smashing it to death with my tennis racket case (with racket in it)... no luck. I smash it with a pillow MULTIPLE times... no luck. I FUCKING SPRAY IT WITH RAID SPRAY (IT'S ESSENTIALLY SARIN GAS FOR BUGS) AND IT DOESN'T FUCKING DIE. I ultimately killed it with my SAT study guide.

I think I'm buying one of those electrified fly swatters. They sound much more effective than Old Pinky.

Yeah and you get the fun sizzling sound. We had a plague of mosquitoes last summer and I think I must have killed around 50 in one day using that thing.
