Well now that they have taken all Samuri Swords off the streets I can see why you feel comfortable walking down the streets. I can walk down the street and feel safe as well, the only difference between you and me is this. If someone tries to mug me, I can fightback. All you can do is piss your pants and hand over your wallet.
So the answerv to my question is no. and the answer to yours is also no, I guess, It is a good thing I support Israel and Iraq isn't it?

Now I know I'm not an American liberal but I can safely say that what you said is probably deeply offensive to a lot of people.lowing wrote:
Nope that is exactly what it means. Liberals do not display these characteristics. Pretty damned simple really.
Uhmmm, excuse me, you're the one taking things to extremities if you think kick boxing is the end all solution to protecting yourself.CameronPoe wrote:

P.S. The Matrix doesn't exist.
People with martial arts training get prosecuted more severely if involved in violent crime, or so I've been led to believe.CameronPoe wrote:

I prefer Ambrose Bierce's definitions...
PATRIOT, n.
One to whom the interests of a part seem superior to those of the whole. The dupe of statesmen and the tool of conquerors.
PATRIOTISM, n.

That's not an exclusively liberal view, Cam. Are you saying that liberals as well as conservatives believe in defending the ideals of the constitution? Or are you saying liberals are the only ones who believe in it?CameronPoe wrote:
You seem to accuse liberals of being unpatriotic but what they are actually doing is defending the constitution of their country, which I would regard as patriotic.

Of course I'm not saying its exclusively liberal. The very fact we're using such general terms as liberals and conservatives makes this debate almost worthless anyway. Anyone reading this forum would think there were only two colours in the world - black and white.FEOS wrote:

Fair enough. That's what I figured you meant, but I just wanted to clarify. And I agree.CameronPoe wrote:
