3 Signs I play BF2 WAAAY too much.

1. In the past 10 days, I'd say I've dreamt about being in battlefield combat, fighting against chinese and and russian about 7-8 nights. I've been stabbed in the leg, shot in the eye and revived (i got shot in the eye, fell down dead and saw myself being revived by a guy with shock paddles) and fired a support gun at advancing chinese forces.

2. When I go to sleep at night, I listen to music, but very quietly. Sometimes I hear the UAV detecting enemies in the area, I seem to of had this voice in the back of my head shouting ENEMY FORCES SPOTTED!
but of course, there is no UAV and it's just my imagination.

3. I reply to peoples with "Roger" and "Thanks, I owe you one" if they do me a favour. Also, I often find myself in the house alone shouting ENEMY APC INBOUD!! and other various comm rose sentences.

Does anyone else experience this?

Because I'd like to know if I am still normal.

agreed not normal. see a doctor immediatly and if your symptoms increase just go to the ER, and try not to shoot anybody.

I also dream that I transport my real life friends in a helicopter around somewhere, that looks like a mix of wake island and sharqi peninsula. The worst thing is when I die because then I'll just wake up like if it was a bad dream.

I dont have those problems but everytime on msn.. I press Pg. up when i want to say ok..

I had the weirdest dream the other night. I dreamed I was on some map with a USMC carrier, and I sailed one of those boats over to it. I get on the boat, and destroy the assets on the ship. But I noticed in my dream that there was another person with me. It was my Ex-Girlfriend. I woke up and couldn't sleep for the rest of the night, since I was laughing so much.

i was watching a Qantas Jet fly passed our block of land and i swear that i saw it lag. But maybe ive just been playing too much computer. And I keep hearing the UAV beep every few weeks or so.

BTW special forces is a waste of money, dont make the same mistake i made.

I had this strange dream the other night. When i was 8-9 this big fat punk used to tease me in school. So i would sometimes dream about killing him . Now, the other night this dream got back. I was standing outside my classroom. But for some reason i had a DAO-12 in my hand. I ran into the classroom, but the fat punk was a MEC! But i pulled out my AT and aimed on infront of him and he died from the splashdamage. Then comes my teacher in with a SA80 (L85A1) but i pull out my knife and bunnyhop and it ends up with me knifing her.. HOW SICK IS THAT !?!1

Was reading the thread about your longest play time and I was surprised not to see more diehard players who binged all weekend. Maybe this crowd is not all teenagers like in other games...

ANYWHO, that thread made me want to survey people for signs that they've been playing too much!

My signs include varied incidents thus:

1) Was in traffic and approaching a pedestrian walkway overpass, I saw a dark sillhouette of a head pop up and I started to react as If to put my l96a1 crosshairs on him.

2) I bought a used red Jetta last week, and while driving it, and having never driven a red car before, the inside windshield frame is painted red and looks like the animation for when you get hit from the right side. Well when I first noticed it as I climbed into the car, I thought I was "hit" as if in the game, so I grunted...

3) Being paranoid of helicopters because of this friggen game, I have to explain to my wife why I'm flinching at the sound of and quickly looking for helicopters.

4) I have a new interest in stocking our vehicles, and our home with 9x12x4 first aid bags. SEE? I just bought this mini-medic bag from Big-5 15 minutes ago!!

5) Oh, and I can't drive anywhere without scanning the ground for AT Mines.

All this, and i don't even play that much!!

i was driving on a highway round 8:00 in the evening, saw like a moving shadow of a plane or large bird, and immediately thought it was a vehicle or supply drop comming at me from the enemy commander. then i realized i wasnt in the game and just started laughing.

One time when I drove on the 405 I saw a CHP patrol car with its scanner looking for speeders. I was looking for the Q button on my steering wheel to say "Enemy police vehicle spotted!"
