I did a paint job on my bike..... What do you guys think?
Flat Black with some burnt orange and a little silver pinstripe.

I don't know, I guess it just looks stealthy.OrangeHound wrote:
The orange detailing looks nice... but, why "flat" black?
I will have to cry myself to sleep at my incompetence if he doesn't.LT.Victim wrote:

Do you paint professionally?
Cause don't tell me you did that with just some flat black spray paint and a little bit of pin stripping..
ya, I just rattle canned it........ J. K. I don't paint prof. but I do some side stuff and have all the prof equipment. This is all auto paint and clear that you mix yourself (professional stuff).LT.Victim wrote:

About the paintjob. That black works quite good. I think dust don't show on it so soon. If you want to give some more facelift easy and cheap go buy some tape for the rims. A simple stripe around is quite nice. Oh, crap. Now I did it again. I got the damn building fever again and now I'm gonna go scroll the local bikestores for a bargain. I want a bike so bad... A 750-1000cc bike that I can work on to make it a kickass streetfighter.

Actually it has clear on it. I mixed in an additive to mat the finish and get the flat look.doug1988 wrote:

Wut? They make GS500 with plastics around them?? Only seen nude versions of it. Yeh, and it saves a lot of time during rush hours when you can split lanes while the cars just sit there waiting for the lines to moveviper313 wrote:

BTW It's a GS500, 2004. It's great for going to work, it gets like 60 mpg!
I don't think I've ever seen a stripped version besides pictures. I guess mine is a GS500F. They made it first in 04 for a new look.Wut? They make GS500 with plastics around them?? *sigh* After yesterdays little misshap I wanna destroy my vehicle (it's not a car, it's a Ford) even more and get a bike. Some dumb cunt didn't have the strength to look back/turn eyes towards his rearview mirror when backing up on the parkinglot. Well what happens? He makes a nice set o holes in my bumper with his VW Touran. Good enough he had the balls to tell me straight away it was his fault and he'll take care of it. Good thing I can drive with it. Sad thing he didn't ram my front end with a damn tank so the insurance company would take it away. That damn vehicle hasn't brought anything but trouble to me since I bought it. The cam belt broke and caused a nice valve pizza with a crusty bottom made of an enginetop. That circus was worth 2680€. And now I also gotta go buy new rims since one of my summertires is bent for a 15cm area from the inside. I've probably hit a rock on a dirt road and not noticed it. Enibadi wanna buy a Ford??
Just got a call from his insurance company who told me to take p.o.s. to the nearest Ford shop and tell them to fix it and send the bill to them. Thank Jebus I'm going on a cruise today so I can get totally wasted.
