I used to go camping in northern Canada and one of our trip leaders brought some. He sprayed some a good like...fifty feet from us...and we all teared up and our noses were on fire.

Seriously. If you're the one holding it and you spray it...it'll fuck you up pretty badly as well as the bear.

The pepper content is less when the CS is mixed with it though. Whats the SHU rating on the bear spray?
