I think jumping just once is ok, its at least fairly realistic (a soldier could get in one good jump)...

I have a newsflash for all of you. Battlefield 2.. (get ready).. ISNT REAL LIFE
Ill hop all the hell I want, Ill dive all the hell I want. My purpose is to stay alive, and kill some people, capture some points, help my team win. If hopping around like a bunny is the way to do it. Ill do it. And dont give me any crap about "ooh if you're willing to bunny hop, what ELSE would you be willing to do.. hack?" Please, Smashing your spacebar key is hardly a hack, its part of the game, and if EA is going to fix that, then whatever, so be it. I just get tired of all the complaining abou it. Some guy has a sweet quote on here. "Give a noob a rifle, he's probably going to want you to stand still", something like that.

I've been at it 4 months now and after over 100 hours I've stuck to my guns. It sure grates some times when I'm getting creamed, but I see bunny hopping as an admission of weakness and failure, so I won't do it.Greenie_Beazinie wrote:

For me if you jump even once to avoid fire you are bunny hopping. I've done it once or twice myself. literally one or two bounces, and after rounding a corner I've cursed myself for doing it. It's incredibly tempting but for me I try and play the game using real life tactics, painful as it can sometimes be. I don't thik on the grade of bunny hopping that it's a serious breach that you've done though...
