Wow I don't like it ether. It loads faster though.
Decidedly ugly. Grey text and blue links on a white background with no symmetry. When was that ever appealing, and why are so many boring sites using it?

The layout works for me, though has been simplified to the point where there are too many options, and several different ways to get to the same spots. Moar concise, plz.
The color scheme, on the other hand, does not work for me. The blue is mostly too light, and the grey blends with the white.
