Just wondering if some could show me how to play the game some time. Just got it recently but have no gotten around to playing it.

It's not a complicated game to play. Just learn the maps, learn the classes, and do your best to learn peoples' techniques. Try to watch other peoples' actions and do your best to copy it (only if their techniques are good / are what you want to do).
Also, don't lose patience when you get owned a lot......after you do the above things, you'll slowly get better.

Be a Medic, Engy, Soldier or Heavy to start with. They're easy to play.
After playing them for a bit you'll know the maps and be ready to tackle the classes that require more skill like the Scout, Spy, Demoman and Pyro.

And Spy is the hardest class to learn in my opinion. It really takes a certain degree of acting (along with a little luck and hopefully some mayhem to hide you in) to convince the other team you're one of them.
