I was recently banned from my favorite server, but it wasn't a hardware ban, so I "Borrowed" a CD key from a friend but I lost my Installation Disc2.

So is there any way I could change my CD key, without re-installing BF2?

Probably a registry change would be all you need to do. I'm not sure where the bf2 registry saves your cd key info though, sorry.

If your just missing just one install disc, maybe find a torrent, and just download that cd. I think it should still work.

Or tell those internode ppl you shouldn't have been banned on their forum, and we'll all sign the petition.

Good luck.

And, no, it's not possible to change your CD-Key from the registry, when you install the 1.41 patch, it encrypts it, before that it was wide open.
