- Prince Williams lands a chinook in his girlfriend's house
English tabloids = Fail.
News of the World / The Sun should not ever be referred to as valid or topic-worthy sources .
Sensationalism at it's finest(?).

Good god 29k an hour. It is a military vehicle though.
I never get these British innuendos.
My state was founded by Batman. Your opinion is invalid.
What the fuck are these guys doing. At a time when good Military equipment is scarce, and people are dying from their failure. Here he is fucking around with them to get some pussy. Sure, it's what every guy would do given the chance, but it's still fucked up.

You could have a few stories from this one headlinePrince Williams lands a chinook in his girlfriend's house
"A military source told us".. gtfo.
Forget landing the Heli.. that's impressive. William got outdone by the classic nipple cd balancing act.Harry and William stayed at the £40-a-night Rawlings hotel which allows guests to take advantage of a 24-hour licence. Harry persuaded female guests at the hotel to balance as many CDs on their nipples as possible, cheering loudly when one managed eight discs.

If that has any sort of truth to it, she has a pretty massive garden

I think he is permitted to go to a bar you know..
If there are shortages in Afghanistan or Iraq then why isn't that air vehicle in Afghanistan or Iraq? I doubt he flew it over the Middle East to get to his girlfriend's parents' house. Who knows - maybe it was actually a test to make sure it was fit to fly

Why does the rest of the world give more of fuck about what our royals get up to than we do?
Nice
what do you expect? They're rich, they live in their own world with it's own rules and realities. Look at his mom, speeding through Paris at 100+ mph, no seatbelt. They figure she would have walked away from that accident had she worn a belt.
Using a piece of military hardware, running on publically paid for fuel, to impress some bitch. This is the reality of these people. They're rich, they don't care.

The majority of the articles I found talked about the "fury" from your taxpayers. As far as the rest of the world really giving a fuck... not so much .Scorpion0x17 wrote:

Anyone else have the feeling that he's trying to make up for a lack of size somewhere else with this big helicopter?
Who gives a fuck?
When they say 'fury' from the taxpayers, what they mean to say is that they need to pretend someone cares in order to print the story.Kmarion wrote:

She's not even that hot.
Gtfo.

yawn. it's not as if the Chinook was deployed at the time. rememebr this is the guy that one day will be head of the armed forces ( in the way that yuor president is commander-in-chief of the armed forces) or didn't you know? it's not the government that declares war, its' the royal family. they just let the government do it out of courtesy,. so knowing about the RAF might actually be useful for him. if that means he pilots a chinnook to his girlfriend's house, and GETS APPROVAL FROM HIS SUPERIORS, then good for him, and lucky for him he has a girlfriend who has a back yard big enough.
I'll buy that.ghettoperson wrote:

Well apparently it wasn't quite as ridiculous or wasteful as I first thought, but it is still a pretty pompous case of "LOOK WHAT I CAN DO!!!"NBC wrote:
British officials are confirming that Prince William landed an air force helicopter in his girlfriend Kate Middleton's parent's backyard during a training flight.
...
The statement said the helicopter was on the ground for 20 seconds, and that no one got on or off.
Edit: apparently I can't spell...

I'd rather have my tax payers money spent on him having a "jolly", than on some idle sponging cunt!Kmarion wrote:

At the end of the day l belive what people have missed out is the fact that he was praticing landings and take offs. We the tax payer would still be paying for him to do that, where ever he was practicing. He just happened to be prat icing in his lasses back yard and the media what to make a spin on it!
Hes third in line for the throne and will some day become King, so let him crack on! The money he will create from tourism will cover the cost of some of his "jollys".
