I was just wondering what unique genes people here have. I was wondering because I have a very prominent widows peak, and have a weird gene passed down from the mothers side that gave me crooked pinky fingers. My grandma, and mom both have the same crooked little fingers, but none of my uncles do, and neither does my sister. I actually looked on wikipedia to see if I could find any name for the trait, and didn't find a thing. Even google provided skimpy results, besides images. For those of you wodnering what i mean:

This is what I meant by crooked. When I hold my hands side by-side with my palms facing up, my pinky's form a Y. It might not even be that unusual, it's just I've never met anyone outside my family with crooked pinkies.

ANyone else have any unusual traits or genes most people think are odd?

My tongue has many cracks in it which grosses everyone out and they always ask how it happened. I just tell em i chew razorblades and they leave me alone. It might be called a geographic tongue but i'm not sure.

I believe the crooked fingers are usually caused by arthritis. Or years of cracking your fingers/knuckles. Or your special...in a weird kinda way.

Me? I have crooked toes.

No idea. I don't think I have arthritis. I know my grandma has bad arthritis though. Her and my mom both, and they're the only two I know what have it. As far as cracking my figners, I've never done it that much.

I have ridiculous flexibility with my fingers.

I will try to explain this with words, since I don't have my camera right here. If I put my hand palm down on a table, I can move my fingers upwards to beyond a 45 degree angle with the table (as in, beyond the level of the top of my hand). That's without applying a force with another object. If I push on my fingers in that direction, I can get some of my fingers to touch the top of that hand.

I think that's somewhat unusual, as no one else I know can do it. I could be wrong though...that 'ability' doesn't come up in normal conversation.

My 2nd and 3rd toes are webbed up to the first knuckle. I think that's unusual. I have freckles in weird places: one on the bottom of my right foot, 2 on the inside of my left middle finger. And one on my ballsack. Dead serious

I have a really strange palm print. Everyone else I've seen have three lines and stuff, but mine look like this:

Edit: she has a crooked finger as well, means its very hard to get a fingerprint as we found out going through US customs on holiday.
