how much education does she think he needs for him to realize he has an idiot for a mother
hahaha, I know!  She tattooed her forehead for only $10,000.  That's not even one year tuition for most universities (that doesn't even cover the current room and board costs for the school I went to!) and I doubt it would go far at any private grade schools.

That seems like a foolish bargain for her dignity.

what I don't get is parents or single parent struggling on a shoestring budget and making major sacerfices just so the kid wears some over priced label

I know she didn't walk away with that amount either .................... first the govt steps in gets there share (usually 1/3), second I guarantee she upgraded her ride from a stock '97 toyota camry to a '97 toyota camry with 20" wheels, third clothes ..... Labels Labels and more Labels ... the harder the name to pronounce the more she wants to buy it

That's pretty much what I look like. A little more definition in the arms.

I wear lots of striped shirts. I have a Head shirt that I wear when I play racquetball a lot. There is a sailboat symbol thing on one of my polo like shirts, I don't know what company it is. I have a plain colored nike shirt with a small swoosh. I have a Russel hoodie that has a small R. I would recommend both of the latter for their quality, the nike shirt breathes well when I'm running around, and the hoodie has the best fit I've ever had in a sweatshirt. It's really nice elastic around the waist and arms, and the neckhole fits well, so it traps air really effectively. Nice and toasty.

I have never stepped foot in an AE store, or A&F, or the like, even at the expense of the ridicule of my idiot friends on a school trip. I'm no hypocrite.

So, do you get sheared annually or biannually?
Biannually

Seriously dude, why do you have such a thing against clothing with logos on them? If it makes you feel better, the only clothing I can think of that has the company on it is a Gap hoodie I have. Gap isn't exactly upscale or anything. The hoodie was comfortable, it was on a good price, so I got it.

What about shoes? That Nike Swoosh or the 3-stripes of Adidas certainly tell people what kind of shoes you wear.
gap...

My favorite gripe is people who wear Fox Racing clothing yet have never sat on a dirt bike nor raced one, they wear it just because the little Fox icon is cool looking and I remember when a Fox racing shirt was 10 bucks, now they're like 30 something.

I've been looking for a place to buy plain, solid color shirts of colors other than black or white for a long time.

Wal-mart.

I get tag-less hanes T-shirts there for like $4.  They come in a multitude of colors both with and without breast pockets.  I have a bunch of them.

if i like the way a particular piece of clothing looks, i buy it. plain and simple. i don't care if it has stripes or a logo or god forbid a giant penis on the front. if i like it i buy it. i've never owned AE or or A&F because i don't like the style.

i mostly wear quicksilver and Hurley because the styling is aesthetically pleasing to me, which in turn leads to better productivity and more happiness.

you're shitting up a storm over something so minute and unimportant it amazes me. i've never seen somebody wearing a given shirt and thought to myself "oh my god i have to have that!"
when i go to shirt store, i look at the designs, and if i see something i like, i buy it.

exactly. if the clothing is appealing i buy it. does it have a logo? who cares? people don't buy ugly clothes with expensive logos. they buy clothes that they think looks good. if it happens to have a logo that doesn't detract from the look, then so be it.

I wear some brands of clothes because they're comfortable such as Nike and Under Armour etc. But I also am sponsored on a paintball team, so I wear shirts that advertise our sponsors, so I am getting paid in a sense to advertise.

P.S. I can proudly say I have never even been into Hollister, AE, or A &F. Their clothes are crappy, who needs a torn faded shirt that won't last more than 5 washes? I don't get that either.
