If a tyranical regime took over your country, what would you do? By tyranical I mean like Oceania in 1984, Nazi Germany, or the People's Republic of China. I'm not saying go out and bomb stuff - I mean, if you live in your nice democratic free country, and then a fascist coup took hold, what would you do?

I'd fight for freedom. I wouldn't be a terrorist - I'd be more like V in "V for Vendetta," only harming those who opress and violently kill the innocent. One person can do a lot, and there are many others who would do the same. It's hard to assume that a fascist coup could work in America - the states would be pissed, and it's incredibly likely the army would go "no fucking way." Yet, smaller countries often have sucessful coups.

So...what would you do?

Or we can make like General MacArthur and leave the US, saying we will return. We then make a huge fuckin' force and come back.

I'd bomb government officials. It isn't terrorism if you aren't killing innocents; it's just another way of "freedom fighting".

Nice to say, except that the majority of the people fighting the US in Iraq are not Iraqi. They have come from other middle eastern nations to fight "the great jihad." Saudi, Yemen, Jordanian, Egyptian, Iranian. Iraq is not the popular uprising you picture it to be. The vast majority of Iraqis are just trying to live their lives the best they can. And they came out in enormous numbers to vote for the current Iraqi government.
