Why Karkand!?!?

All i see now are 24/7 Karkand servers of Sharqi or city maps. Doesnt anyone love Songhua Stalemate?
Im tired of city maps and apcs and tanks and yea. lol. some1 give me an ip of a non karkand server please

i play karkand the most because thier arent arent choppers and jets rapping me left and right, just armor whores which are easily taken care of with some c4.

Songhua sucks, it's one of the maps that makes you regret getting the game. You swim around forever trying to sneak up on the enemy only to find that the hill you were trying to climb up is too steep to climb or is blocked by bamboo.

I dont do it for point whoring, I like to snipe, there are more targets to snipe in a busy city map, as opposed to a map in china where the trees get in the way of your shots check me out 44771669, yes I memorized my pid, because it is easy 44 66 16 69, lol, I havent even played a total hour on shonghua.....I like mashtuur and sharqi before karkand though, used to be a karkand whore, I admit it, but karkand got like a routine, Cap suburbs, then get hotel, then bridge blah blah blah. good server = 23.117.34.125

I like shonghua because you can hide in the mist.
I go on all different maps, but Sharqui is my favourite. Shonghua looses people who don't have excellent graphics. The mist is too much of a hindrance to those with bad graphics.

Indeed. Or when the transport that normally spawns at the nearest flag to you is actually abandoned at the other end of the map leaving you with no choice but to walk/sprint to the next flag where you meet up with a whole enemy squad that sends you packing and it's back to another long walk just to get some action. Point made?

I love shongua, its my favourite map!

It requires tactical thinking, not just bunny hopping in karkand style, and the map has great atmosphere

really everything there the birds, the snipers got their camo for this map, the hiding in the woods, the cold fog, the claymore traps, the sniperknifing even the traveling does not bother me.
I allways have thought it was a better map than Karkand. (plus it was the first map I played )

I love Songhua also, you can earn also a lot of points. There are masses of APC standing around.
And the jungle at northern island is nice for guerilla attacks: Kill some guys, retreat, hide and wait for them searching your traces

No air units. Crowded city map. Like Stalingrad in POE, Vietnam mod. Very nice. Mashtuur and Sharqi are both crowded city maps, but are very unfair when it comes to air units. Or an overpowered blackhawk, or an overpowered Cobra. No, Karkand is better. I'm still waiting for some new city maps like Karkand though.

yeah I do like city maps too and I even hate songhua!!!! You swim and swim and swim and swim... And if you get eventually on the rock, then there is someone who laughs and knife you. And then you can swim and swim again!! Karkand rules, just like warlord and ghost town in sf!!!!!

Karkand is good because there are no helis or planes.

Songhua is good because, well it just is!!!

The only maps I don't like are, Dalian Plant (unless your in the air it sucks) and Daqiung Oil Fields (not as bad but still sucks on foot)

I f^@%#$^ hate Songhua Stalemate. That map and Zatar Wetlands are maps created by Satan. The other ones are cool, and Sharqi is the funnest map to play.

That's cos you're an armour-whore. Most of the time I've come across you in a server you're in a tank or apc. Oh and almost half your time spent on BF2 is in an armoured vehicle. Nuff said.

i,m all in about Urban city maps....not about the point farming but more about the combat action. most of the time when u respawn ur in the middle of a firefight
