Hey guys...

I know that´s just a story among thousands, but I have to get rid of it, because I´m so MAD!!!

Just coming from sharqi where the following stuff happened...:

First round:
I loving sniping, so i grapped my little miss m24 and ran for the crane, placed a claymore at the first platform for my security...
Did my sniping job as usual when i was suddenly punished for a teamkill from mister *JAG*JPR_28GER...
Alright, shit happens, so i just typed " HEY MISTER, RED SKULL IS NO CANDY ! "
No reply, round goes on...
Went over to the hotel, got on the roof, placed a claymore at the ladder...guess what happend...right, punished from the already mentioned guy...
So I typed something like : " MORON, OPEN YOUR EYES ! "
No reply...

Second round:
Ran around a bit, playing sniper, and ended on my favourite spot on the cran, placing a claymore on the already mentioned spot.
Just a minute later : Punished for a teamkill...I was so pissed !!!

Now comes the " funny part " :

About 30 seconds after he punished me, that guy came up on the crane to my spot, starting to shoot people, just like nothing happens...
All i could type in my rage was : YOU FUCKING MORON, DON`T PUNISH FOR A TEAMKILL FROM A CLAYMORE THAT WAS VISIBLE FOR YOU LIKE A FUCKING CHRISTMAS TREE !!!!

Hold on tight for the end : That guy turns around, looks at me, changes from rifle to pistol...hestitates for a second...pulls out the claymores, puts them both right in front of me ( we were both prone )...gets up and runs for the ladder that leads to the top of the crane...
I pulled out my pistol and shot him in the head...
This was the first time ever I ever teamkilled somebody with fulling being aware of it and I don´t regret a fucking percent of it....

Good night everbody...

PS...If you ever stumble over that guy, put a nice, little, shiny bullet in his head and tell him some greetz from HellHead...he knows why...

If you put claymores on top of a so-called "sniping spot" (although they're so obvious I dunno why anyone even bothers anymore) you're bound to get a TK. And 95% of the time you'll get punished. (I never punish unless someone is being a complete smacktard though)

Snipers are lucky with claymores.... They don't have to worry about every armor whore on the planet driving over their AT mines for no reason whatsoever and punishing them for it.

Yeah, I recently teamkilled for the first time on purpose. On Fushe pass I'm having a good game with the lav and pull off some distance from a flag and hop out to repair in clear view. I had mined one access to the flag but with plenty of space to skirt the mines. Frankly they were poorly placed because they were so darn easy to see. I get the apc about 3/4 repaired and some spec ops jumps in it while I am in mid-wrench, drives it straight down the road, rolls right over my mines, then punishes me. I type in "dude, why'd you nab the apc I was still fixing, run over my mines and then punish - uncool." I get "wtf get over it asshat." I was freakin furious like I'd never been before. I see him spawn at the nearby flag, took my new MP7 and shot him in the face, then typed "now you can punish me moron." Of course he did and soon he disconnected. I felt a little bad after the fact.

claymors and mines should be nicknamed idiot magnets. I have rarely driven over an enemy or friendly mine (if it was frinedly, no jolly rodger), I have very very rarely been killed by an enemy claymore. I mostly use them as warnings. since a good player will detonate them before comming for me. although I have 34 claymore kills. . . so some people have found them the hard way.

I swear I have 2x as many TK's as kills with claymores. Although I feel realy lucky that as of late people have stoped punnishing for this regularly.

The claymore detonation zone is a 3 diomensional cone.
If you place a claymore on that particular spot, it covers the ENTIRE ALLEY.

You were blowing up anyone who tried to go down that side of the map, wich is one of the 4 main axis of advance.

I've only ever seen one sniper that knew how not to be stupid about that particular spot, by placing the claymore to one side of the ladder.

EDIT: meh, too harsh a tone.
But idiot snipers who put claymore too close to that ladder is one of my pet peeves.

Read again : FIRST, i got on the roof, THEN I laid the claymore. And I have no idea which place your talking about... I meant the building that is sorta opposite from the hotel flag, down by the sea...

doh, you said sharqi, I thought you meant karkand.
The spot im talking about is in the right most alley at the bottom of the hill on karkan ( as us looking toward mec spawns)

I've seen some lackwit snipers clean out an entire friendly squad with an ill-placed claymore there.

I got 4 claymore TK's on the same guy last night! He was a good player and seemed like an OK guy when I asked him about it.

To be fair though he though I was doing it on purpose - especially when he ran in front of my scope at EXACTLY the wrong moment!! (what are the odds of that!!)

His "revenge" consisted of repeatedly reviving me in front of a guy with a PKM!!!

Moral of the story - don't plant claymores .... anyware!!!

...and always talk to people and see whether they are idiots, or like this guy just a bit blind!!!

It's always fun doing that to asshats. Especially on Karkand. O' you wanna punish me for running over my obviously placed AT. No problem I'll repeatedly revive you infront of that enemy APC that i didn't get the kill for because yout wanted to go spawn camp with a Vodnic, but couldn't.

OK the guys that punish for blowing themselves up with a friendly claymore or AT mine are complete and total morons, however.....the guys that punish you when they run around the corner and right infront of your tank or APC, or dart out in the middle of the road when you are crusing through at top speed....they are complete and total retards who should have their BF accounts suspended until they can pass an IQ test. Oh...forgot my favorite special (mentally challenged) players......the player that decides that he really wants that tank or APC a whole lot more than you and decides to shoot you in the back of the head when you turn your head. My revenge for that short yellow bus rider was waiting for it to respawn again and just as he got in placing an AT mine directly infront of the front wheel and directly behind him.......he got the APC again, but didn't move for the rest of the round!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

YOUR ladder YOUR crane? Place the claymore a little more strategically so other people can share your crane. He's still a fucktard for doing it again and again, but don't hog a crane all to yourself.

I have ran into friendly claymores and/or AT mines cuz my computer wouldn't show the red skull and yet I never punish for it cuz I know it was my fault.

And uhhhhh.........polarberz snipers work alone. At least I do unless I am sniping with a friend on ts then we both stay together. Maybe he didn't want anyone up there because he snipes good and he didn't want some idiot that can't snipe for shit and popping off all these shots that would give them both away. That is why you stay away from idiots like the JAG guy.

Agreed on the alone part, but seriously do your part in actively checking out the ladder yourself instead of hogging the whole darn thing. Not that it really matters to me, just speaking for anyone else who may snipe out there too. I have never been up a crane Honest!

i rather hide at the side of the road instead of the crane, and i save myself all the trouble, besides every body knows that you up there.
and since i have like 170 hours as sniper i know wat you feel abouth the TK with claymores, most of my TK had been with claymores, and 95% of the time hasn't been my faul and 95% of those TK with claymores i have been punished, still killing 4 dudes with 1 claymore rocks, or put a claymore on the enemy dead body and a greedy medic will come to revive without looking around then write hate messages in the chat
