I'm not trying to defend the actions in the article, I find them despicable. But I have a question. Why exactly do right wing people love to sarcastically call Islam the "religion of peace" so much? If you are going to sarcastically call it that, it seems like you are implying that those who defend Islam call it that, and honestly I've never heard it called the religion of peace by anyone but a conservative who was attacking it.

I mean really, the only religion that I would even consider calling the religion of peace is maybe Buddhism.
