About time this happened. This sort of crap happens all the time and guys walk out with as little as two years and then some probation. Ridiculous. Glad to see this finally happen! Does anyone else feel the same way / differently?

Hope they rot in jail I almost cried when they got found guilty about 4/5 weeks ago its heartbreaking. She cradled him after they started on him first.

This is the case when the mother laughed or something in court didnt she? Oh well I hope she never laughs or has the privilidge of being a Mum again.

it mgiht be 25 years, but i believe the home secretary ( or is it the judge now?) can make it whole life. if Ms Smith can, i f****** hope she does make it a whole life tariff. ( it's who sets the tariff that determines how long until parole, I think 25 years is only the starting point. and it si parole, so they would be eligible to get out on licence then)

EDIT- checked the article, one must serve at least 18 years, the other at least 16. note those are minimum sentences. the Parole Board might say t6hey still are a danger to the public, and keep them inside.
